Went to BG for a yr...too much partying! So moved to Hocking Tech. College in Nelsonville for an AA in Travel & Tourism. Worked as a travel agent until 2006..traveled coast to coast & even took a group of Navy Seals back to Vietnam in 1996! It was an amazing 20plus years & I'd still be in the industry except the agency closed in 2006. (Thanks to the internet!). I knew I had to change carreers & worked for a nonprofit, but had to have something with a possible future
I know work for Sedgwick CMS It's not fancy, but I work on the fax line doing document management. We handle w/Workmans comp, unemployment etc. ...nothing fancy, but great benefits & pays the bills and a chance to move up and change!
I married Harry in 2003. He is the Developement Director at The Open Shelter which is a day shelter & advocacy center for the homeless & marginally housed in downtown Columbus. In 2008 they helped over 3700 DIFFERENT people with everything from jobs, housing, medical care, legal, food, clothing and many other things that you and I take for granted!
I've volunteered there since 1992 and their staff set us up in 2000! Helping his clients has become my passion!
He loves the Buckeyes, Reds and Steelers! I just tag along.....(except to the Buckeyes!). |

I have many memories ..but I think tping the school & putting it up 'for sale' has to be high on my list. Did we really steal 84 signs? then the next day the guys getting blamed! Everytime we go to Orville, all I can do is laugh! The ride over seemed to take FOREVER! I think the 'band competition' that was mentioned by Allison...that was at the Van Wert Fair our senior year! I'll never forget it! I never knew it was Linda & Allison! I always thought it was the guys!!!
Another of my favorite memories is more reunion related...it was the Sunday after a reunion (I don't remember what year...) and we went to Old Barn Out Back. We sat, chatted and just had fun. Mr & Mrs. E came in and someone had the idea to sing the Alma Matter to him... We finally got up the nerve and did! The look on his face was something I'll never forget! I think it made us all proud!
(course the fact that we even remembered it was more the amazing side! hehe! ) |

Mr. Folk...I learned to like him the day I spent delivering fruit w/him! He was lots of fun! REALLY!
Chiv! Who didn't like him! Mr. E! He made typing fun!
Anyone know what ever happened to Mr. Biddinger (sp?). He swore he could teach anyone to sing...even me! I wish I'd taken him up on it! hehe! (he'd been proven wrong!).

Friends! We saw each other every day & I miss the long time bonds we had with each other after knowing each other for years!!!
